An eye for detail and for the whole picture

With a magnificent view over the five-valley city of Schramberg, our experienced watchmakers manufacture the Erhard Junghans watches at the same spot where their special history began. The original company building now houses state-of-the-art workbenches still imbued with the spirit of Erhard Junghans.

A new watch begins as a draft design, passionately pursued in intensive work in our engineering design department, always inspired by our classic historical timepieces.

The fascination of any watch is primarily due to the exact interaction of its many masterfully created components. Anyone who has witnessed the process of transforming the tiniest fine parts into a flawless premium timepiece can feel this love of detail. For our J325 and J330 caliber models , we manufacture and finish the bridges, ratchet, and precision adjustment directly on site, and our watchmakers assemble them with filigreed workmanship in our own atelier into the unique timepiece.

After setting the face and hands in the timepiece, and inserting the sensitive movement into the case, the watchmaker tests his creation on a timing machine directly at his workbench. The atelier foreman then conducts the final check of the meticulously finished timepiece, with an eye on the overall product.
